Guam History Day Project Review(:
So … my partner My partner and I just finished with our Guam History Day Website. This project had ups and downs, but through it all, it was alright. We created our website based on what we thought were appropriate and important to have. Our historical perspective was … how you would say … UNORGANIZED. We just thought about adding information and just organizing it later, but we ran out of time. In our thesis, we kind of wanted to get the people viewing our website to get interested into looking throughout the WHOLE website. It was short, but it was cool 
Throughout the whole adventure of making our website, the challenge that affected me the most, was NOT GETTING DISTRACTED. Honestly, I really get distracted a lot. My partner had to scold me sometimes whenever I lacked or trailed off into La La Land. Also, I am a lazy chickk ` so I had to force myself to get up during my nap time to work on the website.
What I enjoyed doing the most was going to the libraries! Well, JUST MARC, NOT Agana ! No Offense though^^ . MARC was fun because they had , … what’s the word ? Oh Yeah ; INTERNET ! Also, I loved all the information that I was able to find at MARC. I was really interested ! Agana was a BIG library, but they didn’t have much information on me and my partner’s topic. They had some important documents, but I was too tired and lazy to do them xP Probably, the fun part about going to Agana was YOGURTLAND !! PEACH dessert ;D So, through it all, the information and food were the parts that I enjoyed !

Me and Robyn’s Topic for NHD is Guam War Reparations Suckahhh ‘ ! We will show the history behind it including ow many times the people of Guam asked for the reparations and who presented the bills to Congress . I am looking forward to researching about this topic . This topic is related to the topic for NHD because Guam War Reparations is debated between Guam and the US Government, who apparently, doesn’t want to give Poor Guam Money :’(

I really want to research about why the government dudes gave Saipan Reparations when they didn’t give Guam. From the research I find, I want to understand why they won’t give Guam Reparations. I want to know how many times they ALREADY Presented the Reparation Bills to Congress. I want to know the different dates the reps presented the bill to Congress.
Well , Me and Robyn just want to go to DC, haha . Heyyy ! I’m just telling the truth ;D
However, we DO want to learn about the History of Guam War Reparations .

Guam’s Struggles : War Reparations
As you may know , Guam has been fighting for War Reparations . There was a bill at the Senate requesting for Guam’s RIGHTFUL and WELL-DESERVED War Reparations . Unfortunately , that bill was shut down . Just 24 hours after a woman named Rita Santos Cruz was informed that Guam was FINALLY going to receive War Reparations , she was told that the war reparations were DENIED by the U.S. Senates .
To be honest with you , then if that’s the case , then no buildup . Forget it . You know , the leaders of Guam better wake up , because we , the manamko , are not kidding them .

Congresswoman Madeleine Bordallo and Senator Frank Blas Jr. are fighting for the People of Guam’s War Reparations . At least they are doing it for the people of Guam . Frank Blas Jr. and Bordallo are BOTH DISAPPOINTED by the fact of HOW LONG the people of Guam have been wanting War Reparations . Note that war was DECADES ago . That is a VERRYYY Longgg Time .
Obviously I’m disappointed , Greatly Disappointed in the decision to remove what was supposed to be a compromise .

It is Very sad that we DON’T get jack when our people died during that war . Yeahh , we bombed the Japanese , but at least we gave them money . So , why aren’t our people , of GUAM , getting anything . Honestly , That’s Really , Really , ABSOLUTELY , IMMEASURABLY , WRONG . During the war time , the people of Guam were treated like ANIMALS . I’m sure the Senate would do anything if anyone they knew were there on Guam during that time . I mean , the Japanese even took Chamorros into a cave and threw a bomb in and BOOM … DEAD . The Imperial Japanese Army people really disgusted me . I even hated them with all my GUTS because they killed my Great-Grandfather . They BE-HEADED Chamorros . Then , they just threw their bodies in Ditches . That war DEVASTATED and TRAUMATIZED the people of Guam . Think of what all the Chamorros at that time went through . So , all we are asking for is to receive what we DESERVE . Just because we are a tiny island and not as big as the US or Japan DOESN’T mean that we don’t mean anything . Please , Guam Deserves Better ! >_<

What should we do about Guam’s Status ?
Should Guam re-evaluate its stance on commonwealth and try once more to change its status from territory to commonwealth ? Why or why Not ?
I think that Guam should try again to change its status from territory to commonwealth . The people of Guam brought it up , so why not STRIVE for it . Even though the people who brought it up in the first place had probably past away , we should at least try in their honor . Plus , it would be nice to be a commonwealth . We would have a closer relationship with the United States . Just because our Commonwealth Act was put aside , that doesn’t mean that we shouldn’t try (:
Our Commonwealth Bill is somewhere in congress . It was shut down back then , but the bill is still there . Commonwealth hasn’t been brought up since the 80′s because , well , it Failed . Commonwealth was what majority of the people of Guam wanted . It’s sad how the bill was shut down when MAJORITY of the island wanted commonwealth , it just is . It SUCKS . We should bring Commonwealth up again . Maybe there are people out there who want Commonwealth too . We won’t know unless we try . We have new Congress people and representatives , and maybe they would encourage Commonwealth on Guam . So , LET’S TRY(:

Qualities of a GOOD Blogger ;D
Hi there ! Do you want to be a good blogger ?? Do you want to know what its like to BE a good blogger ?? Well , just follow there simple things , and you are on your wayy !
First of all , you need to be ORGANIZED ! You need to put your facts in order . You don’t to be like this : “You need to boil the Ichiban , But first you need to take it out of the packet . Then , you need to take it out , but make sure you put the sauce in . ” People just want to do it in order . Just like a recipe . It tells you what to do step by step . If you are blogging about your day , you start from beginning to end . That’s a good way and a very used way to blog ;D People usually do that . Hahaa
Okayy ! Another way you can be a good blogger is to wake up early and do your work !! Don’t Procrastinate . The more you do in life , the more you can blog about . You need to get out there in the world and take a look at life . You can REALLY blog about that . I bet there are a lot of things happening in life . (:
Another good way to be a good blogger is to make a lot of posts . You can get noticed , and a lot of people can read your posts . They can tell their friends , and their friends can tell your family about it . And so on . That is how Leo Babauta became noticed . Now , he is a TOP BLOGGER Do you think that you can do that ?? You can , YOu just have to believe ! Ewww , So CORNY . Hahaa . Well , just start with your first post . That means you are starting as a ROOKIE ! lol xD
Another wayy you can be a good blogger is by being Active in everything you do . From sports , to poetry, to playing music . You can blog about EVERYTHING you do . Remember that different things catch different people’s attention . So , you can do that .
Another easy way to be a Good Blogger is to Actually use grammar that EVERYONE would Understand . Don’t be talking all whatever like you are from another world. Also , Use Vocabulary that EVERYONE would Understand . Don’t use words that everyone doesn’t know . I LOVE this word , but not everyone knows it . RHINOTILLEXOMANIA . I learned this last year . Every time I try to ask people what it means , they don’t know . Hahaa . So , yeah . Case Closed .
You have to be INSPIRATIONAL . Write about things that people would easily get interested in . Tell them about how they can be Bloggers too . YOU gots to be the ROLE MODEL (;

Guam Election 2010 Results
As you know , Guam’s 2010 Election was held on November 2, 2010 . In an election , you vote , of course . After the voting , the results are WOW .
According to PNC , Calvo/Tenorio won in the Gubernatorial .
According to Marianas Variety , In the Governor Division , Calvo/Tenorio won with a total voting count of 19,875 . Guiterrez/Aguon had a total voting count of 19,292 .Those may seem like a big numbers to us , but note that Guam’s population is close to 160,000 . So , what happened to the rest ?? I don’t know .
According to KUAM , Calvo and Tenorio stayed up more than 24 hours , and they thanked Guiterrez and Aguon . Guiterrez and Aguon ran a SPIRITED Campaign .
Anyways , according to PDN , Guiterrez/Aguon lose by 583 votes. That is CLOSE !!! Wow , can you imagine that ! Goshness ! Anyways , congrats to Calvo/Tenorio . Congrats to Guiterrez/Aguon for giving it their best shot . (;
The Senotor Division went alright I guess . I’m not really into politics . Out of 30 Candidates, ONLY 15 could win . Okayy , the TOP 15 :

1 – Tom Ada with a count of 22,078 .2 – Judi Won Pat with 21,775 . 3 – Tina Muna Barnes with 21,145 . 4 – Vicente “Ben” Pangelinan with 21,110 . 5 – Dr. Aline Yamashita with 19,851 . 6 – Dennis Jr. Rodriguez with 19,674 . 7 – Rory Respicio with 19,177 . 8 – Tony Ada with 18,594 . 9 – Frank Blas with 18,374 . 10 -Adolpho Palacios with 18,203 . 11 – Dr . The Importance of Creative Commons

This is me . Making an entry about Creative Commons. I’m here to talk about the importance of Creative Commons . Well , Creative Commons is a copyright license . It allows the world to use pictures that other people take . That is only if the picture has the Creative Commons symbol . It looks like (cc) , or something like that . The important thing about them is that you can use pics that someone else took . The awesome thing about it is that you WON’T GET SUED for using it . I suggest that you use Creative Common pics. If you don’t and you just take someone’s pics , they can track you down and Sue your little butt. So, the next time you need to get a pic , I suggest that you go to “http://www.flickrcc.bluemountains.net” . I know that is a weird URL just because it had “bluemountains” in it . But , don’t ask me why that word is in the URL because I ABSOLUTELY don’t know why . YOu might say I’m smart , but I’m not that smart to know why in the world they have “bluemountains” in there . 1st Quarter Project Review :DD
This project was cool. I liked making the powerpoint presentation. I don’t know why. The thing that was difficult about making this project was … uhmmm … I guess it would have to be making it on time. I am such a procrastinator. lol XD I did make it on time. I just kept wasting my time.
The EASIEST part was making the presentation. I like looking at the different, AWESOME transitions and animations. I wanted to put sound on each of the slides, but I got lazy and only put on the first two slides. lol XD aha ! My favorite slide was the last slide. I just loved the cute little monkey I put on my “Thank You for Watching” slide. (;
P.S. I LOVED everyone’s Presentation. There was something funny about everyone’s presentation. Like, there was Reyn misspelling LAPTOP. He put LABTOP. Hahahaha xD Also, Reuben’s presentation. He ALWAYS makes us laugh. There was Robyn’s own, where she had the same mean, median, and mode value for EVERY Graph.

There are two ways of reading the news. There is a traditional newspaper. The other way is using an online newspaper. The way they are the same is that you at least get to read the important new articles. You get to see the pictures about the articles. You can look at sports articles. You basically just get to read the basic things in a newspaper.
The differences about using an online newspaper is that you don’t get EVERYTHING that is given in a traditional newspaper. You can use the online newspaper for FREE. You don’t have to pay for the newspaper. You don’t have to go to a store to buy it. If you are using an iPad and have Internet connection, you can take it with you. You can read it anywhere. That’s an advantage.
I prefer the online newspaper. The reason why is because you can read it anywhere. You just have to have Internet connection. It is kind of cool because I have an iTouch. I can zoom in with it. I can actually thoroughly look at an image that I can’t see. I can also zoom in on images when I see people doing weird things. It’s funny.
